Wurzbach Farms was started in the early 1990s by family man Norm Wurzbach when he retired from working in Philadelphia and moved to beautiful York county. With the help of his wife Joan, Norm began a small farm raising beautiful highland cattle.

In recent years, Norm's son Rich Wurzbach and his daughters Mary, Sadie, and Abby have taken on many of the responsibilities of running the farm. With their ingenuity, the farm has begun raising swine and offering pork and beef combo packages.

A core value of Wurzbach Farms has always been family. Throughout the years, almost all 14 of Norm's grandkids have shown the cattle at local fairs and breed events. Grandkids Randy, Bryan, and Emma Marks have been especially involved in showing. The farm prides itself on the impact it has had on the Junior program of the American Highland Cattle Association.
